Quick update from me before I leave on my next trip. I spent the second half of March in the United States, attending GDC and meeting numerous awesome people. I also managed to squeeze in a few days of recording in New York as detailed in my last blog post.

After last year's trip to Senegal I think it's time I did a rainforest trip. I still want to go to Africa, so the Congo river basin looks like the best place to do it. The Congo rainforest is the second largest in the world after the Amazon rainforest and is home to a staggering numbers of species. Figures like 400 mammal species, over 1000 bird species show just how diverse this remote part of the world is.

Lately I've been hard at work in the studio, doing game audio and getting through the seemingly endless backlog of recordings. I've also been planning not one but five different trips over the next five months. Needless to say I'm stoked and I can't wait to share more about this.
