Lately I've been hard at work in the studio, doing game audio and getting through the seemingly endless backlog of recordings. I've also been planning not one but five different trips over the next five months. Needless to say I'm stoked and I can't wait to share more about this.
I've also recently released a couple of vehicle libraries, Cargo Trucks and Junk Cars. I plan more recording sessions and I will update these two collections later this year. If you haven't checked them, make sure you do. They're quite unlike all the other vehicle libraries out there.
As a consequence of my presence on Facebook, Twitter and Reddit in field recording-related discussions, I'm getting more and more questions regarding gear. This determined me to add a gear page to the website, complete with photos and short comments. Photographing the equipment took the better part of one day, and writing the content took another half day. I really like how it came out and I welcome any questions and/or critique. Check it out!
For my next library I'm going through recordings I made last year in the Carpathian Mountains. Yes, it's another surround ambience library, with a twist though. I won't say more for now, but I'm working hard to get it done by sometime next week. Until then I can share some of the gems I've discovered in the recordings from my two trips to Romania last year:
